London to Brighton Bike Ride

WSC is  delighted to continue to serve the British Heart Foundation as an official rest stop for the London to Brighton bike ride. As the first formal stop on the route we welcomed thousands of the 14,000 participants that felt the need for a break 12 miles into the journey. Next years event takes place on Sunday 16th June 2024.

Our spacious car park affords the organisers plenty of room to provide free water, St Johns Ambulance station, a mechanics shop and a flotilla of portaloos!

In addition to a dedicated group of volunteers from our membership, the club are able to offer a range of much needed snacks and refreshments. It's amazing how many of these fine athletes enjoy a bacon roll! (perhaps not as many as the volunteers? Ed.)
